21st December - Camp CODD - South Australia

An early start with the ABC Riverine radio ringing for their weekly 7:15am live radio interview.  Good thing too for the early start, we have a lot to sort out before we leave for South Australia.

Our car is loaded up with gear we either haven't needed, or gear we will need for the second half of the journey such as medications and brochures.  It was time to sort out what hasn't been used on the boat and get it off and replenish stocks of medications and brochures.  It is times like this that CF treatments really get in the way of getting a job done quickly.  Coen did PEP while I was at the boat and I am not convinced that it was a session I would consider respectable.

We were away driving to Christmas at Camp CODD by 10:15am.  Not often we get underway that early...but Santa is waiting at the other end which has a good motivational pull on the kids.  Coen says he is more excited about seeing his dog Tiger who is waiting for him there.

I am excited about having use of a computer that is not touch screen.

20th December - Robinvale

The sun is shining and we cruise the last 20 km's into Robinvale.  A cold wind keeps one of Coen's hands' in his jacket pocket and half his face hidden under his collar.

We pull up at Riverside Caravan Park.  What a well set up park with grass right down the banks for ski boats to pull up to.  Jenny and Jeff are the friendly people who run the place and offer a flash band new cabin for the night so we can get the boat on the trailer this arvo.  The cabin is so new it doesn't even have a number on it yet.  Coen rushes in and puts the heater on and we don't see him for a couple of hours.

Kai finds himself a play mate and is off for the day.  Mark takes a bus to Swan Hill to get the car and trailers.  I start cleaning out the boat.

A reporter from the local paper, The Sentinal comes by to do a story and the Robinvale Councilor, John Katis came to say hello.  We will do promotions on our return to Robinvale after Christmas.
